He's Met His Match

At some point throughout the years of raising our children, Del has spent time with each child in trying to work with them on some project or another. There are usually short tempers, impatient huffing and puffing, rolling of the eyes and lots of mumbling under the breath.
Yesterday, it was Kylie's turn. And I wasn't sure who would end up the victor at the end of the day. I just knew that Del had finally met his match.
It was humorous to watch and listen to. They bantered back and forth - there were laughs, huffing and puffing and even a few moments of name calling. But all in all, it was a successful adventure.
The project is still not finished with one more night of final details to be done, so I am sure there will be one or two more opportunities to proclaim an obvious winner of this years father/child building project.
My bet is on Kylie.
She is, after all, a mother now and MY daughter.
