The five hour drive got us to Galveston at around 3:00 p.m. where we went through about a 2 hour process to get our luggage checked in and our boarding passes and paperwork done. We cruised on the Carnival Conquest ship. It was gorgeous.
Jordan and Lexi arrived about an hour before we did as they only traveled that morning from Houston. They had found their rooms and unpacked by the time we boarded ship.
