And the months of summer brought everything that summer always brings - barbecues, birthday celebration for Kylie, the start of BYU football season and a family trip to the Texas State Fair.
It also brought Ammon and Kathryn to Texas to live!!! How exciting for us to be together as a family. They have moved into a great apartment where Ammon has great internet service to work at Wayfair, and Kathryn has gotten a job at a dental office.
We are SOOO happy to have them here.

And then, BYU football season had it's opening game and party at our house. So many came for hot dogs, ice cream and yummy snacks. And BYU came away with a win that night. On and off season, but we finally ended with a winning season and a win for our bowl game.
The Texas State Fair was our final summer event and an eye opening experience for Ammon. He's a born and raised Utah boy - had never seen certain things you can only find it Texas, so it was tons of fun to watch him enjoy the experience with the whole family. It was so fun to watch all the grandchildren enjoy the awe of it all. The rides, the food, the animals and being with the family. Such a fun time for us all.
