'The Rains Came Down and the Floods Came Up' (April 5, 2021)

 

We had several days in the late summer of heavy rains and flooding in our backyard.  There is no danger to us, so we are able to enjoy the high levels of water in the creek and see how fast it flows.  Sometimes, it will get so high, that Emerson and Evie are able to kind of swim in it.  We don't let them do that very often, because it IS dirty and has little tad poles and fish in it.  Plus, lots of garbage.  But there are times that we just can't keep them out.  That's when we let loose and let kids be kids....germs and all.
