Breathing in Some Life

After some very difficult days over the past few weeks, Del thought it best to some how get Shirley outside the 4 walls of her room.  She has literally not been out of her room in over 5 weeks, let alone outside.  And the air seemed to breathe life into all of us.  We took her for a walk up and down the street and allowed the kids to play outside around her, which seemed to bring her great joy.

Emerson wanted to race Grandma Shirley -he in his car and she in her electric wheel chair.  Emerson won.

These two LOVE each other - and watching them play together is pure joy.

Just like all the other grand children, Evie has discovered the chickens.  She's amazed by their comings and goings and tries to grunt at them each time she sees one.

She's loving being outside more and more
