You Get What You Get...

 ...and I won't pitch a fit.

Aside from a few more onions , 2-3 more tomatoes and a bowl full of potatoes?  This was the harvest of our 2022 garden.

Now, Del has spent the past 4 weeks removing everything from our raised beds, bringing in new dirt and replanting green beans in most of it.  One of the beds has already died again, but I think Del's purpose is NOT for product, but for certain nutrients to be placed in the soil for future use.  And it's been really hard work digging up all the soil, taking out weeds, re-working the soil and then re-planting.  He is drenched in sweat each day and exhausted from the hard work.  But I know and can see that he is determined to have learned something and to ultimately have some kind of success from all this hard work.

Maybe the blessings will be in the next life because this Texas sun is not going to allow us to produce much this year.
