My purchase of the trip...gold anklet...pretty.
Towel animal for the night...Pooh Bear.

Jamaica mon!!! Talk about 'layed back' atmosphere!! The theme of 'don't worry, be happy' was obvious everywhere....Bob Marley, smoking marijuana and reggae music was the norm of the day...and Kathryn and I had a blast. We laughed out heads off. And we did some pretty fun shopping as I took her to an open 'ferria' (flea market shopping) and got her quite a few things. Her purchase of choice??? Shot glasses!!! I know...go figure. Some areas reminded me of Chile...people mostly. Saw the school kids in their uniforms and then vendors yelling at us to 'come in their store' and see what they had to sell us. It was sweet to see some mothers with their kids - braiding hair, holding babies or letting their kids play outside the store as the mother tried to sell us goods.
Fun day in Jamaica.
