A Sacred Moment

We've lived in our new home for two weeks now and not had a single day/dinner that we have not spent with one or all of our children.
I am not complaining.  I'm really not.
But yesterday was Fast Sunday and Del and I had a list, literally a list, of people and events that we had centered our fast on.  Plus, we had designated this day as the day we had chosen to dedicate our home.  So we had decided that we were going to spend a day/Sabbath Day home alone where we could talk and discuss the events and feelings of the day.
It mostly worked out.  Our Fast was heard and our prayers were answered in many areas.  We have yet to hear on some accounts from others of how things have resulted from tests and other circumstances.  But we feel the Lord is certainly aware of the needs of these individuals and that He has certain blessing for them in their struggles.
And we did have an hour in the afternoon after we returned home from church, where Del and I were able to find a moment alone to give thanks to our Father in Heaven for our beautiful home and blessings and that Del was able to offer a beautiful dedicatory prayer to the Lord.  It truly was a sacred moment.
We are blessed.
And Grateful.
