The beginning of September, Del took his truck and off he went for two weeks on his own, to visit all his brothers and some other relatives - all at his own leisure. While he was gone, we had a few exciting thing happen and visitors show up. With Del gone, my first call was to Jordan, who was a TOTAL WHOOS and wouldn't come over first to come and get the snake out of the chicken coop. So the next call was to Brandon Burton and his family. They loved it - Brandon was my hero to extract the snake from the coop and the HUGE spiders from their hiding places too.
When Del returned, he took on the huge project of chopping down three large trees in our back yard on the grass area. It took him a good week to get all three down and now we have a beautiful grass area to run without trees right in the middle of the grassy area.
